Gyro Wheel Gymnastics was founded by Danielle Rose Haliva in 2013 out of her deep passion and love for the sport. Danielle grew up with Wheel Gymnastics, having been an international competitor since the age of 15. Gyro’s mission is to develop professional gymnasts and coaches and help them reach their full potential. In Gyro we believe in building self-reliance and high self-confidence that will later lead into great leadership and independence. We use the platform of sports to create meaningful encounters between all sectors of Israeli society and neighbors in the region. Through the sport we emphasize the empowerment of our girls, adolescents and women, helping them develop high self esteem, healthy body image and leadership tools. 

Although Wheel Gymnastics is an individual sport, teamwork is essential for individual growth. With a focus on sensitivity, compassion and care, we are proud to see how Gyro teammates quickly become close friends and family.

Gyro Wheel Gymnastics strives to coach and create the leading wheel gymnasts in Israel. From gymnastic fundamentals to versatile athletic development, wheel gymnastics provides a medium for young children and adults to explore their physical capabilities. Gyro Wheel Gymnastics is proud to teach not only love of the sport, but to also impart the ideals of good sportsmanship, teamwork and loyalty.
